The Department of Tourism has come forward with a new announcement that is great news for Filipino travelers. If you are one, then do note that you can now visit the African country of Angola without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days. Furthermore, it was also later confirmed by the Department of Foreign Affairs on March 6th, 2026. However, there is a small condition that all Filipino tourists must keep in mind while planning their trip. Your total number of visits is only allowed to 90 days per year, even with multiple visits.
A New African Destination for Filipino Travelers
Regardless, this new policy has opened a new window for Filipino travelers to include another international destination on their bucket list. Angola is very popular for its rich natural beauty, Portuguese colonial history and scenic coastlines. You can never go wrong with Kalandula Falls and the Namib Desert. The falls tantalize you with their mystical beauty, while the desert makes you question if you are seeing it right. Because here, the desert meets the sea. And let us tell you, it is not a hallucination of any way.
Now that the future adventures planning has become super easy for Filipino travelers, you can plan the next visa-free visit to Angola without much worry!
